The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) is about to soon process the election of Jakarta vice governor by the end of this January.

According to Mohammad Taufik, Vice Chairman of Jakarta DPRD, on January 27, his party is scheduled to hold a Joint Leadership Meeting (Rapimgab) from all commissions, bodies to factions to form a code of conduct (tatib) for its election.

It will be continued with the legalization of the tatib on January 29.

"Afterwards we will focus on the formation of the voter committee (Panlih)," he expressed, at the hall of Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (1/22).

The committee would work for one to two days in the future in order to check the administrative requirements that have been completed by both candidates. Then it will be continued with a plenary schedule for the election.

"InsyaAllah we will finish it by the end of this month," he closed.
