The Thamrin 10 Food and Creative Park management, Central Jakarta has invited 20 famous chefs in a bid to welcome Imlek (Chinese New Year), which falls on January 25.
Visitors can buy and enjoy Chinese traditional dishes cooked by the chefs
Those chefs will show their skill in concocting Chinese traditional dishes that visitors can buy.
Perumda Pasar Jaya Marketing Manager Gatra Vaganza said the event has been ongoing since January 15 and will end on February 5. Food processed by chefs can be enjoyed starting at 6 PM
"They serve traditional Chinese food. Visitors can buy and enjoy Chinese traditional dishes cooked by the chefs," he stated, Thursday (1/16).
Foods made include dimsum, lo mein, orange chicken, mongolian beef, sapo tofu, jaozi, fish porridge and hainan jifan.
Aside that, the management also decorates Thamrin 10 with Chinese traditional trinkets, such as lanterns.
