As many as 11 PJLPs of Thousand Islands Water Resources Sub-agency and Panggang Island PPSU had managed to handled inundation in the Thousand Islands Regency Plaza on Pramuka Island, on Friday (1/10). 

Panggang Island Urban Village Head Pepen Kuswanti said that similar action was also spotted at a number of points.

"To smoothen water flow, they clean up the blocked water channels and open the control tub," he expressed.

He added that it was caused by rain with high intensity accompanied by wind thus a lot of organic waste such as dried leaves carried by water flow to cover the channels.

"Alhamdulillah, right now, no more inundation in that places," he stated.
