Civil Apparatuses of Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands holds Jumat Keliling (Jumling) activity or Friday Tour to check the environment cleanliness and remind the residents to maintain the cleanliness.

Kelapa Island Urban Village, Madi M. Dali explained, this time, his side wants to ensure the environment clean and no inundation in settlement areas.

"We need to anticipate inundation and spread of disease during this rainy season. One of them is to ensure the environment clean," he asserted, Friday (1/3).

He hopes by carrying out Jumling and reminding the residents directly, residents can be more independent in taking care their environment.

"Not only residents, but we also remind janitors and SDA Sub-department to check channels and manhole regularly," he added.
