Inundation on Jalan Kamal Raya that leads to Cengkareng, or on Menceng Intersection under JORR Toll starts to recede this Wednesday (1/1) afternoon.

Currently, it starts to recede after we add one unit of mobile pump to absorb water from the road

Formerly, this location was flooded as high as one meter. But ahead afternoon, it recedes gradually around 60-70 centimeters.

On the location, 1 pump car with capacity 500 liters per second deployed by West Jakarta SDA Sub-department to flow the water on the road to channel. While several personnel picked up garbage on BCT Cengkareng River to prevent it from getting sucked into mobile pumping machine.

Lukman, West Jakarta SDA Department's West Flow personnel said 25 personnel were deployed to handle flood on Jalan Raya Kamal into Cengkareng since 5 AM.

"Currently, it starts to recede after we add one unit of mobile pump to absorb water from the road," he added, Wednesday (1/1).
