South Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-department deployed Garbage Collecting Squad to ensure no garbage left on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman where New Year Eve's event is celebrated.

South Jakarta LH Sub-department Head, Syaripudin explained, there are 550 personnel joined in this squad.

"They bring garbage bags while walking around picking up garbage," he said, Tuesday (12/31) night.

He explained, it is important to ensure the area clean thus people can feel comfort while celebrating New Year's Eve at Spot Budaya 2 Dukuh Atas.

"We will also ensure the area clean before 6 AM," he added.

His side also provided 4 road sweepers, 3 compactor trucks, 1 dump truck, and 3 cars to support personnel's work.
