Jakarta Industry and Energy (PE) Department holds IKM Creative Product 2019 on September 23-26 at City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.
Hopefully, Gelar IKM products can attract more young generations to be creative and innovative
This year, IKM Creative Product 2019 is participated by 40 small and medium industries (IKM)s in culinary, 8 IKMs in fashion, and 3 IKMs who produce homemade soap.
All IKMs involved in this event are coached under PE Department, Jakarta Dekranasda, and Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) program at sub-district level.
Jakarta PE Department Acting Head (Plt), Ricki Marojahan Mulia stated, this event is a good opportunity for IKMs to introduce and develop their creative products thus they are able to compete in bigger market.
"It is one of Jakarta Government's supports in facilitating them in form of promotion, market mechanism, and network development," he said at City Hall, Monday (9/23).
He expected this moment can be used by participants to expand their marketing target, create an innovative IKM products, and use variety of marketing facilities, both online and offline which are supported by e-Commerce tools.
"Hopefully, IKM Creative Product can attract more young generations to be creative and innovative," he said.
Wider marketing access, he continued, will help IKMs to have bigger opportunity in getting income and develop their business.
"If their business become bigger, their production demands would be higher and absorb more manpower. Moreover, it could boost economy in city and Jakarta's positive image will be improved," he asserted.
