Thousand Islands Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-department gives fish farming education and training for fishermen and fish farmers in Kelompok Jaring Apung (KJA) of Thousand Islands, at Pramuka Island Community Hall, North Thousand Islands.
We want to educate fishermen about fish farming and train them to do it properly
Thousand Islands KPKP Sub-department's Marine Fishery Section Head, Risnadi said, there are 30 participants who represent all fishermen groups in KJA that participate in this training.
"We want to educate fishermen about fish farming and train them to do it properly based on local environment condition," he mentioned, Tuesday (6/25).
According to him, fish farmers in KJA need to be educated to use fish farming technology properly.
"In this training, fish farmers will learn how to use technology in more effective and efficient way to increase production," he added.
