Jakarta Government supports Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) that plans to create a pilot project for Waste Power Plant (PLTSa) in Bantargebang, Bekasi, West Java.
This technology can turn waste into electricity
"This technology can turn waste into electricity," mentioned Saefullah, Jakarta Secretary, at City Hall, Thursday (3/28).
He informed, PLTSa in Bantargebang is projected to accommodate 100 tons of waste per day and generate electricity around 700 kilowatt.
"It is one of central government's pilot projects for Jakarta in order to take advantage of the waste," he stated.
