Seribu Islands Regent, Husein Murad is monitoring security posts and tourist sites on residential islands.

His arrival aims to ensure that the security of Christmas and New Year holidays in Seribu Islands runs optimally.

"Our further monitoring is Pari Island, Kelapa Island, and Harapan Island. Yesterday we also did the same thing on Tidung Island, Pramuka Island, and some resort islands," he expressed, Monday (12/24).

He explained that those security posts are set up in strategic locations. It makes it easier for tourists and ship owners to easily ask for the various information needed.

"We have weather and tidal wave news here," he told.

Tourists who visit to Seribu Islands since last few days are still high. Therefore he is targeting 40,000 tourists during Christmas and New Year holidays.

"In total, we're targeting one million tourists this year," he said.
