The progress of new sports facilities construction in 16 locations spread in four sub-districts of North Jakarta has now reached 50 percent.

North Jakarta Youth and Sports Sub-dept. Head, Heru Haryanto disclosed that sport facility construction is the aspiration proposed by people through the last year's Musrenbang.

"This construction has been ongoing in early September. Its location is spread in Cilincing, Tanjung Priok, Kelapa Gading and Koja sub-districts," he expressed, Friday (9/28).

Of 16 locations, 2 out of them are still under preparation stage. They are futsal court in Rawa Sengon area, Kelapa Gading Urban Village and basketball court in Yon Air Housing Complex, Semper Barat Urban Village.

In order for the construction process to be based on the program, his side would collaborate with TP4D to conduct field monitoring.

"Hopefully it can be completed in the upcoming October," he said.
