Seribu Islands Industry and Energy Sub-dept. is mentoring 50 small and medium industry (IKM) actors.

Assistant Economy and Development of Thousand Islands, Iwan Samosir said, mentoring will be held for three days. Thus those industry actors can prepare themselves and their products to compete in the wider market.

"It aims to improve the populist economy in two sub-districts and six urban villages," he stated, Tuesday (5/15).

He added Seribu Islands is including 10 strategic areas of national tourism should have attraction ranging from brand name until packaging of its industrial products.

"By so it can attract tourists to want to buy," he stated.
