Jakarta Small Medium Enterprises Cooperation and Trade (KUKMP) Dept. has recorded data of Tanah Abang street vendors, Central Jakarta.
Through ID card, we have recorded those PKLs and only them who are allowed to sell since we have locked the data
Recorded 400 street vendors (PKL)s will get booth to sell in the area.
Jakarta KUKMP Dept. Head, Irwandi said his side has recorded number of Tanah Abang PKLs and their data, re-collect it three times, and lock it. All recorded PKLs are existing merchants.
"Through ID card, we have recorded those PKLs and only them who are allowed to sell since we have locked the data," he affirmed, City Hall, Thursday (12/21).
His side also provides 372 booths to accommodate 400 PKLs. They are only allowed to sell along Jalan Kebon Jati Raya at 8 AM-6 PM.
"After 6 PM, booth will be closed and opened again in morning. We have prepared the tents and they just need to install it," he added.
Based on recorded PKLs data, there are 115 culinary and 265 non-culinary tents. First tent installation is planned to be done on Friday (12/22) together with Satpol PP.
