10 public facility and infrastructure handling (PPSU) personnel in Tebet Timur Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district, South Jakarta, have cleaned water channel on Jl. Tebet Utara I G, RW 01.

Tebet Timur Urban Village Head, Yunaunah said that water channel has 60 centimeters wide and 150 meters long. Cleaning is done since the channel is plastered by concrete block casting.

"We clean it to minimize inundation in the area," he said, Monday (10/23).

He explained, to clean that channel, personnel dismantled the casting first, then cleaned the water channel.

"So, this channel can accommodat e more water in rainy season," he closed.
