20 participants of United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific (UCLG-ASPAC) from German, Philippines, China, Nepal and Malaysia, visited the Kota Tua and Kalijodo RPTRA on Monday (7/17).

The visit is a series of regional workshops with theme The Regional Peer-Learning and Action Planning Workshop Urban Renewal in Historic Town Center (the case of Kota Tua in Jakarta) and Public Space Improvement in Jakarta.
Liaison Officer UCLG ASPAC, Helmi Abidin said that it was aimed to get a full picture of real field conditions.
"It's done to improve the capacity of its members, especially under Jakarta Provincial Government in preparing the SKPD and mid-term development plan (RPJMD) programs in the field of tourism and spatial planning," he expressed.
He uttered, it will be held until Wednesday (7/19). According to the plan, until the end of the activity would be filled with discussion about the development of the city in according with the theme of the workshop.
