Jakarta Water Resources Dept. Head, Teguh Hendrawan revealed, the Gendong River normalization in Penjaringan, North Jakarta has touched 10 percent.

"Normalization will be executed up to two kilometers with 2,000 square meters width," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (3/20).
He added it has been carried out since 2015. So far, 1,800 out of 7,000 plots have been normalized. While the facilities maintenance also keeps being done.
"We're also cooperating with Jakarta Environment Dept. to overcome garbage problem in the river," he closed.
