To smoothen food distribution, a public kitchen began to be set up for flood victims in Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar, East Jakarta.

"Since yesterday, Social Sub-dept. and Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) have been distributing food to the victim. We set up public kitchen to smoothen food distribution," said Angga Sastra Amijaya, Head of Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Monday (2/20).

Angga explains, thus far, logistics that has been distributed are 250 kg of rice, 50 boxes of instant noodle, 4 boxes of sardine, 4 boxes of egg weighing 10 kg, 10 kg of sugar, 10 packs of tea and baby food. Additionally, his side has also received 126 boxes of baby diapers and 6 sacks of clothes.

"Flood doesn't turn away now. The number of refugees this noon has increased from 337 becomes 369 people," he closed.
