PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) will add cross bar on particular lines which have been installed with separator. For now, his side is still inventorying the location that will be installed with cross bar.

PT. Transjakarta President Director, Budi Kaliwono said that the cross bar installation is as an act to line sterilization because many reckless driver still breakthrough the line.

"Many lines have been installed with separator and we will see which one is not installed," he said at City Hall, Wednesday (2/1).

Last year, his side already installed 186 cross bars. Just several spots are not installed yet.

"Last year we added 186 cross bars. This year we will calculate again depend on number of needs, but not too many," he expressed.

Cross bar installment is also to suppress accident numbers on bus way. Budi added that not all lines need cross bar. Especially for short line.

"Not all lines need cross bar, it is depend on situation. Such as short line, it does not need cross bar," he closed.
