Seven monitoring posts of Kota Tua area will be set up. It is as a measure to prevent the entry of more street vendors (PKL).
According to Governor's instruction, PKL must be controlled thus legal vendors who have registered officially at Jl Cengkeh can sell comfortably
"According to Governor's instruction, PKL must be controlled thus legal vendors who have registered officially at Jl Cengkeh can sell comfortably," expressed Irwandi, Head of Jakarta KUMKMP Dept, Friday (9/16).
At this time, there have been 172 tents of vendors including from CSR program set up in the guidance location of Jl Cengkeh. As planned, there will be 382 vendors who sell there.
"It's done thus the passenger feel safe and comfort, but we suggest the Kota Tua to be fenced thus we can do monitoring easily," he uttered.
Those seven points of monitoring post are set up on Jalan Cengkeh, Jalan Teh, Jalan Kunir, Jalan Lada, Jalan Bank, Jalan Kaliber and Jalan Kota Intan.
