Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung stated that the city's inflation rate remains under control and well-maintained. He noted that Jakarta's year-on-year (YoY) inflation rate as of September 2026 was in the range of 2.5 to 2.71 percent.

This was conveyed by Pramono at the Press Conference on the Realization of the 2026 Quarter III Regional Budget with the theme "Maintaining Growth Momentum: The Regional Budget Works in Synchrony and Has an Impact", at the Balairung, Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (10/21).

Inflation in Jakarta is well managed

"Thankfully, inflation in Jakarta is well managed. We're in the range of 2.5 to 2.71, below the national inflation rate of 3.28," he said.

The Jakarta Provincial Government, he continued, has prepared several strategic measures to control inflation. The first is monitoring price affordability through low-cost markets, subsidized food, and low-price bazaars.

The second step is to ensure smooth distribution by optimizing e-commerce and mobile car services. Furthermore, the Jakarta Provincial Government is ensuring supply availability, including through strengthening interregional cooperation.

"We also provide convenience in terms of stock provision, including Dharma Jaya, which previously never thought of having cattle stock, is now permitted, even in Ciangir, we are now preparing to develop that," he continued.

Finally, the Jakarta Provincial Government also conducts effective and transparent communication with the public regarding various activities and programs currently being carried out.
