The East Jakarta Social Sub-agency and the East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) have distributed basic supplies for residents affected by a fire on Jalan Pinang Ranti, Gang Haji Bakot, RT 06/01, Pinang Ranti Urban Village, Makasar Sub-district.

East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head Agata Bayu Putra said the assistance included food staples, clothing, and ready-to-eat meals.
He informed that 150 meal boxes were provided for each of breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily for three days, along with bottled water.
"We hope this assistance will help ease the burden on residents affected by the fire," he said on Friday (10/9).
The food assistance included four five-kilogram bags of rice, four boxes of instant noodles, four two-liter pouches of cooking oil, four bottles of sweet soy sauce, eight cans of sardines, eight packs of biscuits, and four goodie bags.
"We also distributed four packages each of various clothing and personal care items, including women's underwear, men's underwear, Muslim clothing for men and women, blankets, sanitary pads, and towels," he explained.
Agata said the assistance also included rubber shoes, floor mops, floor cleaner, and brooms. For children, the agency provided two sets of clothing for toddler boys and two packs of baby diapers.
"We also provided eight T-shirts and eight pairs of track pants to help meet the clothing needs of fire survivors," he added.
East Jakarta PMI Chair Bambang Pangestu Aldryan said his team had provided three food staple packages, three family kits, three hygiene kits, three mats, and two boxes of bottled water.
"We handed over the assistance to residents affected by the fire who are taking shelter at the local neighborhood unit (RT) head's house," he said.
Pinang Ranti Urban Village Head Nani Yuslina praised the swift response from the East Jakarta Social Sub-agency and PMI in assisting residents affected by the fire on Thursday (10/8).
"We are grateful to the Social Sub-agency and East Jakarta PMI for their assistance. I submitted a request for aid right after the fire yesterday," she said.
