To ensure a secure showdown, 80 Jakarta Public Order (Satpol PP) personnel have been mobilized for the high-stakes 2026 FIFA ASEAN Cup final between Indonesia and Thailand at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) this Monday (10/5).

Jakarta Satpol PP Head Satriadi Gunawan emphasized close coordination with police and army to keep the high-profile FIFA ASEAN Cup final at Gelora Bung Karno completely secure and orderly.

"Our personnel are deployed at strategic checkpoints to preserve order and guarantee safety for supporters flocking to the stadium for the title clash," he expressed.

He stressed that his agency is prioritizing a humane, community-oriented approach when assisting the public throughout the final showdown.

"We are here to serve and ensure the safety of the public at every event across Jakarta," he asserted.

Meanwhile, dozens more personnel moved in to secure the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium's inner and outer rings, according to Central Jakarta Operations Head Suprayogi.

"Our mission is clear: keep gates and access roads clear of illegal stalls, work with police, and stop any public disorder before it starts," he added.
