The Jakarta LRT's Kelapa Gading-Manggarai route has served 100,343 passengers since its inauguration by President Prabowo Subianto on September 16, until September 24, 2026.

This achievement demonstrates public enthusiasm for the new LRT route from Jakarta to Manggarai.

"Since its inauguration on September 16, the Jakarta LRT on the Kelapa Gading-Manggarai route has served more than 100,000 passengers. As directed by the Jakarta Governor, for the first eight days, the public was given the opportunity to try and learn more about this new service and route through a special fare of Rp 8,000," said Budi Awaluddin, Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency, Saturday (9/26).

He added that the Jakarta LRT served 92,043 passengers with an average of 11,505 passengers per day during the eight-day socialization period, namely September 16–23, 2026.

"Travel realization reached 100 percent with On Time Performance (OTP) of 99.98 percent," he added.

According to him, the Jakarta LRT fare for the Kelapa Gading–Manggarai route will be Rp 5,000 per trip starting September 24, 2026. It is hoped that the Jakarta LRT service will become an integrated public transportation option and increasingly connected to other modes of transportation.

"We invite the public to continue using public transportation as a comfortable and affordable mobility option," he continued.

As for information, during its limited operations, the Jakarta LRT on the Kelapa Gading–Manggarai route operates from 5:30 AM to 8 PM with a 15-minute headway. Furthermore, from 8:01 PM to 11:00 PM, the service operates on the Kelapa Gading–Velodrome route.
