Satpol PP officers and Serdang Urban Village officials, Central Jakarta, arranged the stalls of street vendors around Serdang Market, Kemayoran, Wednesday (9/23), to restore the road's function and reduce traffic disruption

Head of Serdang Urban Village, Suci Asliyati Slagai, said the street vendor stalls located on the roadside around this market narrow traffic space and disrupt access for pedestrians and vehicle users.

"We organize street vendors on the roadside so they can move their goods and place them in the appropriate places," she said.

Suci explained that the arrangement was carried out persuasively by visiting stall owners directly and providing an understanding of the importance of maintaining order and traffic access in the market area.

"If they heed our advice, that's fine. However, if they don't, the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) will take firm action," she emphasized.

Suci stated that the party will carry out regular arrangements to keep the area around Serdang Market orderly and prevent the road from being used again as a sales location.
