South Jakarta Mayor Syafrin Liputo has ensured that fire survivors on Jalan Teuku Nyak Arif, RT 05/01, Kebayoran Lama Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama Sub-district, are receiving proper assistance, including support for their basic needs.

"We moved quickly to help the fire survivors because this is a humanitarian matter. They are our fellow residents who need help," Syafrin stressed on Wednesday (9/23), following his visit to the site that morning to ensure aid was distributed promptly.

Syafrin noted that additional support would also be provided, including the replacement of population administration documents damaged or lost in the fire, as well as healthcare services.

"We are also ensuring that children and elderly residents receive the assistance they need. This includes school supplies," he added.

Kebayoran Lama Sub-district Head Mustofa noted that cross-sector collaboration had continued from the time of the fire through the post-disaster response to ensure affected residents received prompt services.

"Thankfully, everything has been taken care of, and we continue to provide social services to the community. The government has been present since last night and remains here today. We must ensure that residents receive proper services," he said.

He pointed out that the Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) had set up an emergency tent as an evacuation post near the site.

"The location was chosen to make it easier for residents to access the post, after we considered using several other facilities, including nearby places of worship," he said.

Mustofa noted that the evacuation post was equipped with various facilities and integrated services to ease the burden on affected residents, including a public kitchen, healthcare services, portable toilets, and other supporting facilities.

"We are also collecting data on residents' losses, including lost school certificates and population administration documents, so they can be followed up promptly," he added.

Meanwhile, Kebayoran Lama Sub-district Population and Civil Registration Sector Head Aldo Prima Putra said his team had deployed five personnel to the site to assist residents in reissuing damaged or burned population administration documents.

The services include reissuing Family Cards (KK), Identity Cards (KTP), Child Identity Cards (KIA), and birth certificates. Residents with Jakarta KTPs can have their population documents reprinted on the same day.

For residents who do not live in Jakarta, his team will issue certificates of non-permanent residence.

"The printing process won't take long. We may be able to complete it today because we are coordinating directly with the South Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-agency. We collect the residents' NIK and information on the missing documents, then print and hand them over to residents through the local RT," he explained.

Aldo ensured that population administration services at the evacuation post would remain available until all the needs of the fire survivors had been addressed.

"We will continue to optimize the services here. More than 30 families have already received assistance here. The printed documents will later be distributed through local community officials," he said.
