The Jakarta City Council approved the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) about Amendments to the 2026 Jakarta Regional Budget (APBD) to be enacted as a Regional Regulation (Perda). The approval was made during a plenary meeting chaired by Deputy Speaker Basri Baco on Tuesday (9/22).

In the meeting, the Jakarta City Council Budget Agency (Banggar) submitted a report on the results of the discussion of the 2026 Revised Regional Budget Draft Regulation. Previous discussions had been carried out through Banggar working meetings with the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD), commission working meetings with SKPD, and City Council leadership meetings with Banggar and TAPD.

After the Budget Committee report was submitted, Baco then asked for the City Council members' verbal approval for the 2026 Revised Regional Budget Draft Regulation to be enacted as a Regional Regulation.

"Can the Draft Regional Regulation on Changes to the Jakarta Provincial Budget for the 2026 Fiscal Year be approved to be stipulated as a Regional Regulation?" Baco asked.

"Agreed," replied the City Council members present, which was then followed by three knocks of the gavel.

Next, a joint agreement was signed between the leadership of the City Council and the Jakarta Provincial Government. The approved draft regional regulation was also symbolically handed over to Jakarta Vice Governor Rano Karno for further action in accordance with statutory provisions.

The plenary session then continued with the delivery of the final opinion of the Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, which was delivered by the Jakarta Vice Governor, Rano Karno before being closed with a prayer.
