The Jakarta City Council has established the 2027 Work Plan, which contains 22 main agendas as guidelines for implementing institutional tasks and functions throughout the coming year.

The work plan was determined in a plenary meeting of the Jakarta City Council chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Jakarta City Council, Basri Baco, Tuesday (9/22).

Baco said that the work plan is prepared as a guideline for implementing various Jakarta City Council activities during the 2027 budget year.

"This work plan is a guideline for the Jakarta City Council in carrying out its activities and functions," he said.

Head of the Legal Products and Trial Section of the Jakarta City Council Secretariat, Nur Achmad, then read out 22 agendas in the 2027 Jakarta City Council Work Plan.

The agenda includes discussions on draft regional regulations, increasing the supervisory function of regional legal products, implementing recesses, technical guidance for City Council leaders and members, City Council supporting apparatus work meetings, and domestic and international working visits.

Moreover, the Jakarta City Council will discuss the 2026 Regional Head LKPJ, the BPK RI LHP on the 2026 Jakarta LKPD, the 2028 Pre-RKPD and RKPD, the 2027 RKPD Amendments, the 2028 Regional Budget's KUA-PPAS, and the 2027 Regional Budget's Amendment KUA-PPAS.

The work plan also includes discussions on the 2028 Regional Regulation Formation Program, the preparation of the 2028 City Council Work Plan, audiences and reception of community delegations, Coffee Morning, the Aspiration Collaboration House, the 2027 Honorary Award Board, as well as the Press Gathering and Year-End Press Statement.

After the entire agenda was read out, Baco asked for the approval of the Kebon Sirih parliamentarians. All members present agreed, and the 2027 Jakarta City Council Work Plan was finalized and subsequently incorporated into a City Council Decree.
