The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts conditions ranging from partly cloudy skies to light rain in Jakarta throughout the day, Tuesday (9/22).

According to BMKG’s official website, the morning will kick off with overcast skies blanketing the entire capital.

By midday, cloud cover will continue to hold sway over most of Jakarta, though light rain is expected to dust parts of South and East Jakarta.

As afternoon rolls around, the sun breaks through over Seribu Islands, bringing clear skies, while the rest of the city—Central, North, West, South, and East Jakarta—settles into a mix of sun and clouds.

Come nighttime, clear conditions will prevail over Seribu Islands and West Jakarta, with the rest of the capital staying comfortably part-cloudy.

Air temperatures today range from 26 to 33 degrees Celsius, with humidity between 51 and 93 percent.
