Tambora Urban Village officials together with Satpol PP, Police and Army officials as well as RT/RW administrators, Monday (9/21), socialized the plan to organize the Jalan Tambora Raya area to residents and street vendors there.

Head of Tambora Urban Village, Muhamad Sidik said that the arrangement is being carried out to beautify and make the area more orderly. The plan is to build a gate at the head of the road.

"The aim of the socialization is to enable residents and street vendors to understand and support this arrangement activity," he said.

Socialization was carried out door to door and to residents and street vendors who usually hang out on Jalan Tambora Raya.

Sidik added that he asked residents to maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the environment by not throwing rubbish carelessly.

Meanwhile, street vendors are asked not to sell on the roadside and sidewalks.

"They understand and are willing to support us. Soon after this, we will build a gate and carry out greening of the area," he admitted.
