A total of 6,531 families from 12 RWs in Pasar Manggis Urban Village, Setiabudi District, South Jakarta, received food aid in the form of rice in stages in the yard of the local office.
Head of Pasar Manggis Urban Village, Ahmad Ziyad said each household or beneficiary family (KPM) receives 30 kilograms of rice from the government through the Logistics Agency (Bulog). This aid is allocated for the July, August, and September periods.
For my family's daily meals
"The aid collection period in Pasar Manggis Urban Village runs from September 16-22. However, we are giving residents who have not yet collected their aid two additional days, Monday and Tuesday of next week," he said, Thursday (9/17).
Ziyad explained that aid collections are carried out according to a predetermined schedule. Recipients can collect aid directly or have a member of the same household represent them.
"If a recipient is replaced due to a system change, the new recipient must bring the replacement data provided by the relevant party," he explained.
He hopes that the rice received by the beneficiaries will be useful in meeting their daily needs and of course will be used as well as possible.
Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries, Aminah admitted that she was grateful to still receive this assistance and was still registered as a KPM based on the established decile.
"There was an issue about a change in decile. However, I didn't change and continued to receive assistance. I will use this rice assistance for my family's daily meals," she admitted.
