Jakarta Vice Governor Rano Karno inaugurated the Pancasila University Bus Stop on Jalan Lenteng Agung Raya, Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, Tuesday (9/15). The bus stop resumes operations following a comprehensive revamp by PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta).

Rano highlighted that the bus stop, a neighborhood fixture since the 1990s, now sports a fresh, modern look complete with proper seating for commuters.

"I hope this upgraded stop makes everyday travel much easier for everyone," he added.

He also shared that Transjakarta plans to build a pedestrian bridge linking the bus stop straight to the Universitas Pancasila train station.

"It will help cut down traffic jams and make it much safer and easier for commuters moving between the bus and train networks," he added.

He added that the bridge project will be built in partnership with PT KAI, the station's asset owner, and is set to roll out in 2028.

"Hope this new stop makes commuting smoother for both bus and train riders—and of course, makes daily travel much easier for students at Pancasila University," he hoped.
