A total of 3,277 families in Pejaten Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta, received food aid in the form of rice. Distribution took place in the courtyard of the Pejaten Timur Urban Village Office in stages over three days.

Head of Pejaten Timur Urban Village, Supriyanto, said each beneficiary family (KPM) received 30 kilograms of rice assistance, which was accumulated for the period July to September 2026.

"We will distribute aid over three days, from September 14 to 16, to ensure optimal service and to anticipate the buildup of residents in the office area," he said, Tuesday (9/15).

He explained that on the first day of distribution, the target is for 1,116 rice packages to be received by residents. Another 1,161 packages will be distributed on Tuesday (9/15), and on Wednesday (9/16), the target is for 1,000 residents to receive aid.

He added that the urban village office will track down residents who haven't come to collect their aid. If recipients are unable to do so due to illness or other circumstances, aid will be delivered directly to their homes.

"I ask that the rice be used wisely, take advantage of the assistance that the government has provided to meet daily needs," he appealed.

Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries, Amsani expressed his gratitude because the rice aid he had been waiting for had finally been received according to the provisions.

"Hopefully it will be distributed on time, if possible once a month," she admitted.
