to make it easier for the community to access healthcare
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the assistance is intended to make it easier for the community to access healthcare, noting the importance of medical transportation.
"We provided an ambulance to the Baduy community because it is needed. They need medical transportation, so we provided one," Pramono said at Jakarta City Hall on Wednesday (8/19).
The ambulance was handed over by Pramono during a ceremony marking Indonesia's Independence Day at Jakarta City Hall on Monday (8/17).
Pramono hoped the ambulance would help Baduy residents reach better-equipped healthcare facilities when they need further medical care.
"The ambulance is intended, once again, to help members of the community who need it," he added.
