We want something like a dwelling. Our hope, the residents could've been better and not stay in the flat
"We want something like a dwelling. Our hope, the residents could've been better and not stay in the flat," he said, Monday (6/20).
With flat sufficient subsidy, it is no longer homeless people hanging around and sleeps on the highway. That is why Jakarta Housing and Government Building Dept asked to prioritize flats for the needy.
"Housing Dept must be firm on the subordinate, all must be overcome. If the unit is not appropriate, it must be disciplined," he said.
At this time, a number of priority programs keep being done for citizens living in the flat. One of them is by riding Transjakarta buys for free by showing the flat ID card.
"Then the children get Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) and ride free bus when going to school and so on. It is provided to create a better life," he finished.
