Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung officially inaugurated 44 members of the 2026 Jakarta Provincial Flag-Raising Troop (Paskibraka) at Balai Agung, Jakarta City Hall, on Thursday (8/13).

Pramono said the Paskibraka members were among the best young people selected through a rigorous selection process.

"Today, as Jakarta Governor, I officially inaugurate 44 members of the 2026 Jakarta Paskibraka," Pramono asserted.

The governor said the inauguration was not merely a ceremony, but also a reminder of the responsibility future national leaders carry to uphold discipline, integrity, and responsibility, as well as a commitment to serving the country.

He hoped the values they gained throughout the selection process would serve them well in the future. Pramono also prayed that all members would carry out their flag-raising duties properly and smoothly.

"I hope you can carry out this responsibility to the best of your ability," he said.
