The North Jakarta Parks and City Forests Sub-agency targets the completion of the Bukit Gading Park, located on Jalan Bukit Gading Raya I, Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village, Kelapa Gading District, by October 2026. Progress currently stands at 35 percent.

Head of the Sub-agency, Reina Camelia said construction of the park on the 1.3-hectare site began in late June 2026.

"Scheduled for completion by early next October," she said, Monday (8/10).

Reina explained that Bukit Gading Park is designed as a public space prioritizing sports activities and family recreation. A range of facilities will be available to support community activities.

The facilities include a jogging track approximately 505 meters long, a children's play area, a green open space, and a multi-purpose building or shelter that the community can use for various activities.

"The park's primary concept remains focused on serving as a comfortable, green, and welcoming public space for the entire community," she explained.

Meanwhile, one of local residents, Dwi (28) appreciated the park construction. According to him, the park is strategically located and retains a cool atmosphere, making it suitable as a space for exercise and recreation.

"This area could become a pleasant green open space," she admitted.
