Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung announced that the Jakarta Provincial Government will connect two nearby pedestrian bridges in the HR Rasuna Said area of South Jakarta.
"As it happens, I have been following the news, and I also just knew that it wasn't connected. So, we immediately decided to have it connected," said Pramono, Wednesday (8/5).

The merging of these two pedestrian bridges is being carried out to connect the two facilities, ensuring they provide optimal benefits to the public.
"The pedestrian bridges on Rasuna Said will soon be connected to ensure the facility is well-connected," he added.
As for information, ghe two pedestrian bridges are located close to each other but are not connected. This is because they serve different functions. The first is an existing bridge owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government. It was built earlier and serves as a crossing facility for the public.
Meanwhile, the second pedestrian bridge is an integration bridge constructed later by the Jabodebek LRT operator as part of the integration facilities connecting the Jabodebek LRT station and the Transjakarta bus stop.
