The arrangement of Kembangan Selatan Child-Friendly Public Space (RPTRA) on Jalan Kembangan Abadi RT 01/08 of Kembangan Selatan, West Jakarta is targeted to complete August.
Provide comfort for visitors
Head of Kembangan Urban Village, Junaidi said the RPTRA, which was built on 2,300 square meters of land in 2016, currently has some of its facilities and infrastructure damaged and requires repair.
"To provide comfort for visitors, we carry out repairs, tidying up and construction," he said, Friday (7/31).
The renovations included painting the curbs, jogging track, amphitheater, and other facilities, including the electrical substation. They also included repairs to the park, urban farming, and nutrient pond.
"We also plan to build a Betawi cultural house in the RPTRA area by involving CSR," he added.
Junaidi hopes that the presence of Betawi traditional houses in the RPTRA will strengthen cultural activities in the Kembangan Selatan Urban Village area, thereby maximizing the RPTRA's function as an educational center.
"The renovation will not only make the RPTRA more beautiful and comfortable, but also more useful. The goal is to complete the renovation by the end of August," he admitted.
