The Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, acted quickly to address the damaged condition of the SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 09 building, South Jakarta.

To rebuild the school building, Pramono opened the option of using Building Floor Coefficient (KLB) funds so as not to burden the regional budget.

"Regarding education at SDN 9 Kebayoran Lama, I have instructed that even though the budget is not yet in the APBD or the Revised APBD, we can use existing funds, one of which is the KLB and so on," said Pramono, Thursday (7/23).

The KLB fund is a creative financing scheme used by the Jakarta Provincial Government to fund various public facility projects. Pramono stated that his party had held a meeting regarding the planned school building construction.

In addition to the health and social sectors, Pramono also emphasized that the education sector is one of the most fundamental priority programs that must be immediately improved in Jakarta.

To follow up on this matter, Pramono plans to visit SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 09 on Friday (7/24).

"We will make improvements soon. We had a meeting yesterday, and today we will have a meeting to decide. Tomorrow I will make a field visit," he stated.
