PAM Jaya confirmed that repair work on the distribution pipe leak on Jalan TB Simatupang has been completed. Water flow to the affected area is now gradually returning to normal.

PAM Jaya Director, Arief Nasrudin, said that the repair process at the leak point which is the distribution route to the Jagakarsa Flats has been completed.

Has returned to normal

"Thank God, this morning it's finished, the flow has returned to normal," he said, Thursday (7/23).

According to him, the team is still carrying out the final stages of compacting the soil and sand to ensure that the pipe remains safe and does not cause movement on the road surface.

"Pressing will be carried out to compact the soil and then sand so that the road will not move and the pipe will remain safe," he added.

He explained that PAM Jaya will conduct an evaluation of work safety aspects, particularly in the implementation of field work that intersects with various underground utilities in Jakarta.

"There are several safety measures that we will also convey to all our contractors regarding safety, because there are many utilities in the ground in Jakarta that are sensitive and work on them must be run carefully," he explained.

PAM Jaya expressed its appreciation to all customers for their patience, understanding, and support during the repair process. He added that the company will continue to strive to provide reliable piped water services to all Jakarta residents.

"Once again, we apologize for the two-day disruption to clean water at the Jagakarsa Flats. This morning, it has been resolved," he admitted.
