Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung said that he would immediately complete repairs to the SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 09 building which was reported to have suffered structural damage.

Pramono added that a swift response and handling would be carried out so that the building could be used again as a place for teaching and learning.

"So, we'll finish the construction of the public elementary school in Kebayoran Lama soon. We'll finish it soon," said Pramono, Tuesday (7/21).

Pramono admitted that he knew the condition of the school building after it went viral on social media. Pramono also emphasized that the Jakarta Provincial Government would bring this issue to their attention so it could be resolved promptly.

"Jakarta is vast. I'll definitely give special attention to the viral issues to resolve them immediately," he added.

As for information, the Education Agency ensures that educational services at SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 09 will continue. All students currently attend SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 11, ensuring that their right to education remains fulfilled.

SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 09 actually had a Detailed Engineering Design (DED) since 2025 and was initially included in the 2026-2027 multi-year total rehabilitation plan.

However, due to budget adjustments, the number of locations built was reduced from 22 to seven locations.
