This activity was a collaboration between Panggang Island Urban Village and State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

Provides practical skills

Head of Panggang Island Urban Village, Jamaluddin said this collaboration is an effort to increase the capacity of SMEs while opening up new business opportunities for the community.

"This activity provides practical skills that can be immediately applied by participants," he said, Friday (7/17).

He hopes that this training will encourage the development of more high-quality culinary products from Panggang Island, thereby supporting the tourism sector and improving the local economy.

The Coordinator of the Seribu Islands BUMN House, Misbahul Anam, explained that this training aims to improve skills and inspire business actors, especially in the bakery sector, which is considered to still have quite large market opportunities in the Seribu Islands.

"We want to encourage food and beverage business actors to present bakery products that are more diverse and have high sales value," he stated.

During the training, participants practiced making bomboloni donuts. They also learned about product packaging techniques to make them more attractive and competitive.

Meanwhile, one of the participants, Mumun (52) admitted that he was enthusiastic about participating in the training because the material was very useful for developing the culinary business he is currently running.

"The training was very interesting and easy to understand. I will soon be applying this knowledge to my business," she admitted.
