Activities at this school are still going on
"Activities at this school are still going on. Don't let someone scare us just because it's the first day and then we're all afraid," said Pramono.
The Jakarta Provincial Government has urged the public to remain vigilant. Furthermore, Pramono stated that the Jakarta Provincial Government had moved quickly to coordinate with the police upon receiving the report of the threat. However, after police investigations, no such threat was found.
"When a check was carried out, then Densus 88 and also the Gegana team were present, it turned out that nothing was found as stated," he added.
Pramono also requested that the police thoroughly investigate the perpetrators of this threat. He assured that the safety of children in schools is the Jakarta Provincial Government's top priority.
"So we suspect someone is carrying out a terror attack. Safety is the Jakarta government's top priority, and there is no indication of such a threat," Pramono stated.
