Transjakarta has launched version 3.0.0 of the TJ:Transjakarta app as part of the company's digital transformation efforts.

To date, the TJ:Transjakarta app has been downloaded more than two million times, reflecting growing public trust in Transjakarta's digital services as a companion for everyday mobility.

PT Transjakarta President Director Welfizon Yuza said the company aims to transform the TJ:Transjakarta app from a simple route finder into a smart mobility companion that helps customers travel more easily and comfortably while encouraging more environmentally friendly travel.

"That is why we continue to introduce innovations that add value to every customer journey," he noted on Monday (13/7).

Welfizon explained that the latest version of TJ:Transjakarta app introduces five key features, including near real-time service alerts during emergencies or operational disruptions, Favorite Routes, Nearby Stops, and Global Search, which lets users find services using a single keyword. The fifth feature, Companion Mode, recommends travel routes while displaying estimated carbon emissions reduced and calories burned during each trip.

He added that, in line with the company's "Going Further" vision, Transjakarta will continue to provide public transportation services that are safe, comfortable, modern, inclusive, and sustainable.

"We also hope to encourage more people to make public transportation their preferred choice for daily travel," he said.
