A total of 5,158 job seekers participated in the South Jakarta Career Fest and Bazaar 2026, organized by the South Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Nakertransgi) Sub-agency, to explore employment opportunities.
Several companies are also offering opportunities for people with disabilities
South Jakarta Nakertransgi Sub-agency Training, Placement, Productivity, and Transmigration (P3T) Section Head Erning Kumala Dewi said 3,458 job seekers had registered through the online platform, while 1,700 attended the event in person on July 7-8, 2026, at Nyi Ageng Serang Building, Karet Kuningan Urban Village, Setiabudi Sub-district.
"As of today, a total of 3,458 job seekers have applied online. Online registration will remain open until July 15, 2026, through karir.jakarta.go.id," she said on Friday (10/7).
Erning explained that the recruitment process will continue after the Career Fest concludes. Participating companies will begin screening qualified applicants through interviews and proceed with their hiring processes.
"After job seekers submit their applications, participating companies will conduct interviews and continue with the recruitment process. They are also required to report to us periodically on the number of applicants they hire," she said.
According to her, vacancies are available across a wide range of roles, including outlet crew, finance, sales, marketing, administration, customer service, retail sales, and IT support.
Educational requirements vary depending on each company's needs, ranging from senior high school/vocational high school (SMA/SMK) graduates to bachelor's degree (S1) holders. Notably, there is no age limit for applicants, and several companies are also offering employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
"Each company has its own qualification requirements. Some accept senior high school and vocational high school graduates, while others require a bachelor's degree. There is no age limit, and several companies are also offering opportunities for people with disabilities," she said.
Erning added that 947 of the 1,700 job seekers who attended the Career Fest in person checked in at the venue, while the remainder were believed to have completed their registration through the online system.
She expressed hope that all applicants who have submitted their CVs and received interview invitations would make the most of the opportunity.
"For those who have submitted their CVs and been invited for interviews, do your best to secure a position with your chosen company. We hope this event will help reduce unemployment in South Jakarta," she said.
