The arrangement on Jalan Ciledug Raya, RW 06, Petukangan Selatan Urban Village, Pesanggrahan District, South Jakarta, presents an integrated pedestrian concept designed to increase comfort and ease of access for pedestrians.

Head Section of Economy and Development for Petukangan Selatan Urban Village, Suhendra said this concept is applied to connect pedestrian paths from east to west to public transportation stops and various facilities around the area.

"Across from this location is also Arteri Park, which we have previously developed. Through this sidewalk development, the public now has a closer, safer, and more convenient route to the park and other facilities," he said, Thursday (7/9).

He added that the development of the area of ​​approximately 200 square meters is also equipped with a mini garden and murals that beautify the environment and add to the aesthetic value of the area.

"We urge local residents and road users to maintain this facility, especially to refrain from vandalism. This will ensure the area remains clean, beautiful, and comfortable for everyone to use," he appealed.

Meanwhile, Wahyu Nugroho, a resident, expressed his appreciation for the area's redevelopment, noting that the new pedestrian walkway significantly improves pedestrian mobility.

"The concept is excellent for pedestrians. Access here is busy due to its proximity to the JORR toll road. Therefore, the presence of this pedestrian crossing makes travel safer and more comfortable," he admitted.
