A total of 40 joint personnel controlled street vendors, illegal parking, and buildings that violated regulations along Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Kelapa Gading Timur Urban Village, Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta.
Vice of Kelapa Gading District, Suci Shintya Polaputri said the activity was carried out to restore the function of the sidewalk as a safe, comfortable space that can be optimally utilized by pedestrians.

According to her, the activity is focused on sterilizing the sidewalks from various forms of violations that have so far disrupted public access.
"We urge business owners and residents not to place goods or carry out activities on the sidewalk so that pedestrian rights can be fulfilled safely and comfortably," she said, Tuesday (6/30).
Suci explained that the enforcement was carried out persuasively with the hope of increasing public awareness in maintaining public order and creating a more orderly environment.
Meanwhile, Head of Kelapa Gading District's Satpol PP, Budi Salamun stated the control involved 40 joint personnel consisting of army, police, Satpol PP, Community Protection Unit (Satlinmas), and the Kelapa Gading District Transportation Service Implementation Unit.
He added that officers also dismantled and controlled 28 street vendor stalls and buildings that stood on public facilities and violated regulations.
"We also gave warnings and guidance to the owners of 15 motorcycles and one car that were found parked on the roadside or on the sidewalk," he added.
