The Jakarta National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BBPOM) has emphasized its readiness to assist Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in securing processed food permits.
Jakarta BBPOM Head, Sofiyani Chandrawati Anwar emphasized her commitment to guiding MSMEs through every step of the process—from meeting food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (CPPOB) to finally obtaining their official BPOM distribution permits.
Our aim is to provide MSMEs with end-to-end guidance
This move serves to make services more accessible for micro-businesses, while simultaneously boosting the competitive edge of Indonesia's processed food products.
"Our aim is to provide MSMEs with end-to-end guidance—covering everything from safety standards and Good Production Practices (CPPOB) to the final step of securing a BPOM distribution permit," she remarked, Tuesday (6/30).
According to her, this mentoring will guarantee that local MSME products are not only safe and top-tier but also ready to compete in broader markets.
"We hope this continuous support empowers more MSMEs to deliver products that are safe, reliable, and highly competitive," she concluded.
