A total of 25 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) under the guidance of the Seribu Islands Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency participated in entrepreneurship training at the Sabira Island Transit House, Harapan Island Urban Village, Seribu Utara Islands District.
Head Section of SMEs of the Sub-agency, Sigit Dwiyanto said the training aims to increase the capacity and competence of business actors so that they are able to adapt to technological developments and digital marketing trends.
Develop their businesses
"Business actors can utilize digital technology to develop their businesses more effectively and sustainably," he said (6/30).
He hopes that all participants can take advantage of this opportunity to improve the quality of their businesses so they can compete and develop.
"We want the participants to be able to follow the training well and absorb the knowledge provided so that in the future their business will continue to grow," he added.
According to him, the Seribu Islands PPKUKM Sub-agency also held a Local Entrepreneur Bazaar and a cheap market in front of the Sabira Island Main Pier which took place from June 29 to 30, 2026.
"This bazaar is a promotional platform for SMEs and also expands market access for local products," he continued.
The bazaar is attended by 25 fostered entrepreneurs who showcased various superior products typical of the Seribu Islands. The committee also held a karaoke competition open to the public to add to the excitement of the event.
Meanwhile, Head of RW 03, Harapan Island Urban Village, Muhammad Ali Kurniawan appreciated the implementation of training and bazaars which are considered to provide direct benefits to the community.
"We hope that similar activities can continue to be carried out regularly on Sabira Island," he hoped.
