10 North Kedoya Residents Participate in Culinary Training

A total of 10 residents of North Kedoya Urban Village participated in food and beverage training held by the West Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD) via a Mobile Training Unit (MTU) at the North Kedoya RPTRA, Jalan Ratu Mawar L, RT 02/ RW 01. The training is planned to last until Tuesday (7/14).

Enhancing skills and insight

Head of Kedoya Urban Village, Febri Ariansyah said this activity is attended by representatives of PKK cadres, RPTRA managers and Dasawisma cadres as an effort to improve the welfare of residents.

"In addition to enhancing skills and insight, participants will also receive a certificate, enabling them to pursue employment or entrepreneurship," he said, Tuesday (6/30).

Head of the Economic and Development Section (Ekbang) of Kedoya Utara Urban Village, Puji Rahayu added, during the training, participants will receive various materials and practice making various dishes such as Curry, Soto Betawi, Soto Kudus and Rendang, as well as processing coffee drinks.

The training will be held over 20 working days at the Kedoya Utara RPTRA, starting Wednesday (June 17) and running through Tuesday (July 14).

"At the end of the activity, participants will take a competency test to obtain certification," she added.

One of the participants, Siti Qori Hapsari admitted to being happy because she gained knowledge of good cooking techniques and produced quality dishes.

"I have hopes that after taking the training and getting a certificate I can start a catering business," she hoped.
